The short version: the numbers you type into CalcRaven calculators stay on your device. We don’t ask for your name, we don’t require an account and we don’t sell personal information.
Who we are
This policy covers the CalcRaven website (“CalcRaven”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us about privacy at hello@calcraven.com.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run in your web browser. The numbers and text you enter into our calculators are not sent to us and are not stored on our servers.
Information stored on your device
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Information processed when you visit
Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical information to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request.
We use privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics to understand overall usage, such as which pages are visited and roughly how many visitors we have. These statistics are aggregated and are not used to identify you.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to improve the site, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
Advertising
CalcRaven does not currently show advertising. If we add advertising in future, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies. We will update this policy before that happens and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting provider, or where the law requires it.
Children
CalcRaven is a general-audience website. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we collect very little, the most likely case is an email you sent us. To make a request, email hello@calcraven.com.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change, and we will change the effective date at the top.
